So let's talk about strawberries: Strawberries are one of my favorite fruits especially when they're fresh. Plus, you can't go wrong with their benefits. 1. Immune system. Strawberries help reduce free radicals which helps to strengthen your immune system's response. 2. Anti-inflammatory. Strawberries contain anti-inflammatory properties which can help lessen the pain and discomfort of arthritis. Strawberries are also a good source of folic acid which can depleted with normal arthritis medicine. 3. Skincare. Strawberries are wonderful for skincare. Strawberries are anti-aging, helps prevent acne, and helps lighten scars. My ultimate go to treat/energy bite/snack/life saver honestly 🙏🏻 So easy to make, you just need a ripe banana, 1 cup of rolled oats, @enjoylifefoods chocolate chips, and cinnamon!! I combine all ingredients by hand, roll them into little balls on a cookie sheet, and bake for 20 minutes at 375!!! So yummy & satisfies any sweet craving 😋

Slow cooked clean Banana Bread Banana bread bought in the shops should really be called Banana “cake”. It’s not a bread at all and one slice can contain up to 28 grams of sugar – that’s around 7 teaspoons! It is also typically made with refined flour so there is little fibre content. You don’t have to forgo your banana bread with your coffee – just make a healthy version yourself. Substitute: Flour for whole wheat flour Sugar for pure maple syrup Butter and oil with greek yoghurt Also add flavourings such as Vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg for flavour. LET’S GRILL 🍤 Greek shrimp skewers *1 1/2 pounds of fresh, cleaned, deveined shrimp (I only buy wild caught) *juice of 3 lemons * about 3/4 cup olive oil *3-4 garlic cloves, minced *1 tbsp dried oregano (when it comes to only oregano, I prefer dried over fresh most of the time because the flavor of fresh oregano is very overpowering) *salt and pepper to taste * (optional) pinch of paprika Whisk all of the ingredients together except the shrimp in a bowl. Pour the mixture over the shrimp and marinate for about an hour. While this is marinating, set aside wooden skewers in a bowl with water. When done marinating, Preheat your grill to about medium heat. Place the shrimp onto the skewers and cook about a minute per side.
